大原野スタジオギャラリーは、オーナーアーティスト、ベ・サンスンの芸術家としての歩みから生まれました。
さまざまな場所、人々、そして異なる文化との出会いが、彼女の作品と人生を形づくってきました。
そして今、歴史と豊かな自然に恵まれた京都・大原野で、国内外のアーティストを迎え、滞在し、制作し、地域の人々と交流する場をつくっています。
Oharano Studio Gallery grew from the artistic journey of owner and artist Bae Sangsun, shaped by encounters with different places, people, and cultures.Today, in the historic and naturally rich surroundings of Oharano, Kyoto, the studio welcomes artists from Japan and around the world to live, create, and connect with the local community.
Artists-in-Residence
Oharano Studio Gallery operates residency programs for artists from Japan and abroad. In the rich natural and historical environment of Oharano, Kyoto, artists can immerse themselves in their creative work and deepen their connection with the local community and culture.
大原野スタジオギャラリーでは、国内外のアーティストを受け入れるレジデンスプログラムを実施しています。京都・大原野の豊かな自然と歴史ある環境の中で、アーティストが制作に没頭し、地域や文化との交流を深めることができます。
Surrounding environment
The area has a rural landscape and is surrounded by bamboo groves and mountains. Historical temples and shrines such as Oharano Shrine and Shoboji Temple are within walking distance. Workshops with traditional skills, artists and designers engaged in creative activities also live in the area.
田園風景の広がるエリアで、周囲には竹林や山々が広がります。大原野神社や正法寺などの歴史ある寺社が徒歩圏内にも残っているほか、伝統技術を持った工房、クリエイティブな活動を行うアーティスト、デザイナーなどの拠点も点在しています。
