釡山を拠点に活動するメディアアーティストとして、AIを活用したデジタルアートワーク（メディアアート／写真）を中心に無意識と記憶の輪郭を探求している。東西大学校実用コンテンツ創作学科兼任教授として在職中であり、BIFA 2020およびTIFA 2018 BookFine Art 部門で受賞歴がある。近年は芸術の殿堂ハンガラム美術館をはじめとする国内外の主要写真フェスティバルや美術館で作品を発表している。今回のレジデンシーの新作《京都記憶の精髄：魂の光として刻まれた時間》は、京都という千年の古都で生きる人々の「記憶の精髄」を視覚化するAIベースの参加型作品である。観客が直接撮影に参加すると、リアルタイムで彼らの姿が透明な頭蓋骨と花に変換される。頭蓋骨は個人性を超えた存在の普遍的本質を、その中に咲く花はそれぞれの固有な人生の物語と美しさを象徴する。肉体は有限だが記憶と経験は物理的形態を超越して永続するという哲学的思考を基に、現在を生きるすべての瞬間がすでに永遠の次元に属するという認識を提示する。京都の重層的時間性の中で個人の存在意味を光として形象化した作業である。

A media artist based in Busan, exploring the contours of the unconscious andmemory through AI-powered digital artworks (media art/photography).
Currently serving as an adjunct professor in the Department of Practical ContentCreation at Dongseo University, with awards from BIFA 2020 and TIFA 2018 Book Fine Art categories. In recent years, works have been presented at majorphotography festivals and museums both domestically and internationally, including the  Hangaram Art Museum at the Seoul Arts Center.
The new work from this residency, "Kyoto Essence of Memory: Time Engraved as Light of the Soul," is an AI-based participatory work that visualizes the 'essence of memory' of people living in Kyoto, the ancient capital of a thousand years. When audiences directly participate in photography, their images are transformed in real-time into transparent skulls adorned with flowers. The skulls symbolize the universal essence of existence beyond individuality, while the flowers blooming within represent each person's unique life story and beauty. Based on the philosophical contemplation that while the body is finite, memories and experiences transcend physical form to persist eternally, this work presents the. recognition that every moment of living in the present already belongs to the dimension of eternity. work that visualizes the meaning of individual existence as light within Kyoto's multi-layered temporality.​
